Saskatoon Berry Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup saskatoons or blueberries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 F
  • In medium sized bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time. Mixing after each.
  • Slowly stir in milk.
  • Pour liquid into dry ingredients.
  • Stir just until moistened. Fold in the berries.
  • Bake for 25 – 30 minutes in a greased muffin tin or use paper muffin cups.
